Author Dr. Julius Mosley II recently appeared on “People with Distinction,” a radio program hosted by Benji Cole, to talk about his book “Living Life with Blinders On.”

Living Life with Blinders On: Living Life as God Intended by Dr. Julius Mosley II is a faith-based book that awakens people about life after death. The book introduces questions that people might ask themselves about their existence and where they would end after everything. The author created the book to enlighten his readers and to provide a warning about the impending judgment that is waiting for everyone who has ever lived on Earth.

Dr. Julius Mosley II recently appeared on People of Distinction, hosted by Benji Cole, son of Al Cole on CBS Radio, to share about his book Living Life with Blinders On. Dr. Julius Mosley II discussed his background, his inspiration for writing the book, and the misconception of people about living a life aligned with their divine intention.

Dr. Mosley Grew Up Curious About His Existence

The interview started with Benji Cole asking about Dr. Julius Mosley II’s background. Dr. Mosley shared that he was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. Growing up, he had been wondering about everyone’s existence. He would explore and go to church to try and find answers to his questions, but he found it difficult to answer them right away.

I would go to church and would see people laughing and talking, praying and doing all the things that people normally do. Outside of that, the world was just the same.”

The author also added that he had a deep concern about where we came from. He’d been asking himself, “Where did we come from? Where did people come from? Where did I come from?”  At a young age, he already knew that God existed, and he believed that there was a God.

“When I begin to think about it, my thoughts will carry me to a certain extent, and there, I find myself at the beginning again asking the same questions,” the author reflected.

Dr. Mosley Focused on Finding His Answers

Because of his curious nature, the author shared that he always wanted to join the children’s ministry when he was sixteen because that’s what his friends are doing. However, he was not a member of the church, putting him on the observing side.

I’d like to be in the children’s ministry to do things. I like to usher. I like to sing in the choir. I like to do those things. But I’m not a member, so I can’t do those things, so I have to just sit down and watch.

As a teenager, Dr. Mosley focused on finding answers to his questions about existence, especially when he experienced two brushes with death already: one was an almost drowning event, and the other was a car crash. These brushes with death made him more motivated to fulfill his desires.

“At that point, I knew then that there is something I need to know that began my real, real search to find out what was beyond the grave. I learned to be just like the other peers. I want to join the church. I wanna be a part of the church. But to me, joining the church meant more than that. It has to be more than that.

“The only way that you can find truth is from the word of God,” he added.

People’s Misconception About Living a Life with Divine Intention

Since the book talks about existence and life after death, Benjie asked the author about his opinion of people’s common misconceptions about living a life.

Well, the problem is that scripture tells us that the people are lost. They are lost because the god of this world has blinded their eyes. The god of this world is Satan. And by Satan being god of this world, God has told us that we should live by faith and not by sight.

“If we think about that, you think that God is so stupid that he allows people all the different religions when he desires a relationship, not a religion. God creates Adam and Eve as his son and daughter not to be worshipped as people worshipped Him today. God said, ‘I no longer dwell in temples made by hand. I’m not there in the church.’ Christians are as bad as anybody else. They’ve turned a relationship into a religion.”
