Poetry in Motion

Poetry in MOtion by Raymond Quattlebaum cover

Raymond Quattlebaum’s first book is entitled Poetry in Motion. It was published in 2009. In his first book, Quattlebaum shares his poetry about life, its motions, and God’s presence in our daily life. Poetry in Motion celebrates the great circle of life and all its beauty, and at the center in all of this is God.

“So here it is, the book called Poetry In Motion. Poetry is life in Motion, Motion is the Poetry of Life, spinning at a vibration so magnificent, a vision for the world to see. Here, at last, is a book, the Chapters of Poetry In Motion, as we express ourselves through life. If a picture is worth a thousand words, what can you say for a mental visualization? Yes, life is a stage, and we all play a part, but what part do you play in the great scheme of life? As we know, to be a part, you must play a part in the great circle of life and beauty. This book is designed to bring to the reader life in the passage as we know it, the miracle of who we are, Poetry In Motion Life in the Presence of God”

The Color of Love

A decade after he published his first book, Raymond Quattlebaum published The Color of Love in 2018. In his second book, Quattlebaum imparts to his readers the wonder and majesty of life, how it is filled with magic and love. Quattlebaum’s collection of poetry in The Color of Love demonstrates his devotion, and gratefulness to life’s abundance of harmony, energy, and beauty. The book features 38 new inspirational poems. Raymond Quattlebaums also shares his ideas on relevant social issues such as injustice and inequality. Just like his first book, Raymond emphasizes the importance of faith and recognizing God’s unconditional love and everlasting presence.

“Life is the essence of who we are! We must PUSH! Because in life you never know how far you can go until you PUSH! Life is a constant PUSH!!! We all must PUSH! Because movement is the essence of life. My book will inspire the reader to read more as you turn the pages inspired about what is coming next. My book talks about the chapters of life in its unique form. The coloration in life is Poetry In Motion. You will understand poetry from another point of view, the author. A lot of times in life it’s not what you read, it’s how good the book is you have read, where it takes you. How did it make you feel, did you get anything from it.”
