When Marilyn Taplin was a newlywed in the late 1950s, openness in the matters of sexual issues was not a part of the social order. It is a subject not openly discussed compared today. As a young adult, Marilyn was determined to think only on positive, good, clean, and wholesome subjects. Consequently, she eliminated offensive movies, books, and magazines from her life.
In the 1960s, the sexual revolution happened, and Marilyn shockingly witnessed the moral change dramatically. Her first reaction was to ask, what does God say about morality? Marilyn then researched and embraced God’s instruction for mankind on the subject of human sexuality. The result was her 2001 debut book, A Law from Eden: Solving the Mystery of Original Sin.

A Law from Eden: Solving the Mystery of Original Sin is a 2017 (Archway Publishing) Christian book by Marilyn Taplin. The 344-page book discussed the root of all social ills and the original sin in Eden that is the act of oral sex. In this book, Taplin advises modern Christians to remain chaste and avoid perverse sexual acts to bring heaven back to Earth.
