There comes a point in life when a person feels lost in their journey. At most times, it feels like there is nowhere to go but to remain where they are, stuck in the same place. Dark and heavy feelings are bound to come in such situations, and it is every person’s duty to help one another get back on the right track, especially when it comes to their loved ones and most of all, their own selves.

In Where Are You Going?…It’s About Choice, author Larry B. Bachman shares his life of facing his troubles of being torn between choosing the right path and tagging along with his rebellious band of friends called the Midnight Bike Marauders. Through all his troubles, he learns more about God and the Bible.

Larry B. Bachman’s love of the printed word brought him home in the ‘80s to be mentored by Irving Graybill, then owner of the local newspaper, The Post. He continues to minister through contemporary Christian stories. Larry hopes to bring hope and comfort to his readers.

Larry B. Bachman recently guested in the syndicated radio program “America Tonight with Kate Delaney” to discuss his literary work, Where Are You Going? .

Kate Delaney shared at the beginning of the interview that they had a great off-air conversation, with author Larry B. Bachman sharing that he grew up in a cultural bubble, and he talked about having a matriarchal upbringing.

“Well, it was a farm community, predominantly a cultural bubble. We were just about 100% white, German. It was different from my future experiences. As I became a musician in my teens, I couldn’t wait to get out of that community, but the matriarchal. side of it gave me a faith-based upbringing, which, I think, really set the foundation for my future.”

A Life of Faith and Friendship

As readers flip one page to another, they will be transported to the life of a person where, just like any other, challenges and the test of faith meet. The young boy, Larry, navigates himself with what he knows best through the complexities of friendship, peer pressure, and the journey of discovering himself. Larry Bachman ventures into his life with his friends, the Midnight Bike Marauders, where courage, firm decision, and immense spiritual growth are in store for him.

Facing Challenges and Making Critical Choices

The story starts with Larry Bachman facing a grizzly bear. Thankfully, a metaphorical one. Nevertheless, it is a kind of situation that is, at most times, impossible to power through. The first scene truly sets the tone for what the author is struggling with: a life where he finds himself stuck between crossroads, having to make a difficult decision that can change his life for better or for worse. Most of all, the situation is not just about distinguishing right from wrong, but also, a test if his faith is steadfast enough.

A heartfelt book that many people can resonate with, Larry Bachman’s literary work is sure to be the perfect read for those who are facing similar real-life issues, providing comfort and guidance to a life where faith, family, and making the appropriate choices are top priority.
