Kimber Snyder currently lives in the country near Franklin, Pennsylvania with her two Yorkies, seven chickens, and her horses. The Adventures of Ivy and Kimber is Snyder’s first book.

His older brother Mike rides his horse, Buster. Kimber always helps her brother in feeding and taking care of Buster. Seeing her dedication, Kimber’s parents decided to grant her wish.

Kimber’s parents looked for a pony that would be safe for a little girl to ride. Finally, they found a pinto pony. Pinto is a horse breed that has a coat color that consists of large patches of white and any other color. Though the pony was blind in one eye and had bent legs on the front, young Kimber loved the gift her parents had given her. Finally, she had a pony of her own. Kimber named the pony Ivy and the two became instant best friends. Kimber took care of the pony and showered her with care, love, and compassion. Together, they shared many adventures and an extra special blessing.
