Learning to balance Christian faith with the demands of life isn’t always easy. During these circumstances, books can be a key to helping you stay on the right track. Fortunately, there’s an abundance of great Christian authors that are being published these days. Hundreds have carried out the preaching of Jesus Christ. These writers have inspired, guided, and captivated by the millions through their rich dialogues. They are excellent references for anyone looking for a great read, whether it’s about spiritual growth, self-help, devotionals, plain Christian fiction. Countless authors shaped Christianity; among them are women who will touch your heart, engage your brain, and remind you of the faith that ties us all together. Thus, ReadersMagnet features some of our favorite female Christian authors.

Katie Souza

Katie Souza was a career criminal, and after being convicted of a number of felonies, she was sent to federal prison. Having to serve almost twelve years, she encountered God at one point. This inaugurated her path to turning her life around and serving God. She became an advocate for Jesus, leading other women to accept Him as their Savior. As of this date, she has written six books to help ease the suffering of many Christians out there. She also founded the prison ministry Expected End Ministries and Katie Souza Ministries.

Dr. Arline Westmeier

At the age of 3 and a half, Dr. Arline Westmeier felt called to be a missionary. This commenced her ongoing commitment to Jesus and His work. Since Jesus devoted Himself to healing the sick, she too decided to go into a similar course of action. She went through a rollercoaster-like life which conditioned her to the realities of life. This experience led her to become a counselor, speaker, and, just recently, an author. She has presented seminars on healing and counseling in places all over the world. But her eagerness to help, she harnessed her knowledge and faith to publish a string of books entitled Healing the Wounded Soul for people to delve on in their own time.

Sarah Young

Jesus Calling was practically a hit devotional to this day, and behind that enlightening book is a woman named Sarah Young. This Nashville native learned to “dialogue” with God which led her to be a full-fledge follower of Christ and His teachings. Sarah’s devotional writings are personal reflections from her daily quiet time. All her work encourages readers in their own journey toward intimacy with Christ. Her books don’t target an age group; she has one for children, teens, and adults. Today, Sarah focuses on writing devotionals after serving for years as a missionary.
