Cixin Liu is a prolific and popular science fiction writer from the People’s Republic of China. He was labeled as the first cyberpunk Chinese author after the publication of his novel China 2185 in 1989. Liu gained fame for his famous mind-bending trilogy The Three-Body Problem. First published in 2007 but only translated in 2014 by American author Ken Liu. The novel won the 2015 Hugo Award of Best Novel, making him the first Asian to win the Best Novel award. Additionally, the third volume of The Three-Body Problem series, Death’s End won the 2017 Locus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel. Other notable works include The Dark Forest and Death’s End.

Ray Bradbury
Ray Douglas Bradbury was another celebrated 20th-century American author and screenwriter who worked on a variety of genres, including science fiction, horror, and mystery fiction. However, he is predominantly known for writing the iconic science fiction novel Fahrenheit 451. The New York Times dubbed him as the writer most responsible for bringing modern science fiction into the literary mainstream. Having been inspired by science fiction heroes, he began writing science fiction stories in 1938. He was able to produce more than 400 short stories and nearly fifty books across genres. Other than Fahrenheit 451, his science fiction novels include The Martian Chronicles, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and The Illustrated Man.
Dennis E. Taylor
Computer programmer turned novelist, Dennis E. Taylor is a hard science fiction author exploring the interaction between artificial intelligence and the human condition. Taylor has been noted as one of many popular authors that debut their work in audio form rather than print. We are Legion is the book that skyrocketed his name to fame.
