Her life journey had not been an easy one. Throughout her life, she has suffered many losses and survived many trials, including an abusive childhood, a difficult marriage, betrayal, divorce, cancer, financial losses, career, and the death of a grandchild. The ministry allowed W. Veronica Lisare to begin a spiritual journey that would take her to a path of healing and forgiveness. The ministry and its teachings enabled Lisare to understand the past, accept what happened, and move forward with a new perspective. She abandoned condemnation, self-hatred, and shame. With her newfound faith, she embraced her true identity as a King of kings’ daughter and entrusted everything to God. Lisare always felt that her work and training as a nurse were insufficient, but she felt that she could do more for others and their salvation with her time in the ministry.

Aside from the Spiritual healing and strengthening that the Sozo Ministry provided to W. Veronica Lisare, the missionary work also allowed her to travel to many countries and see the world. Lisare traveled to many countries, including the Philippines. She went there on a three-month missionary despite suffering a bad fall that sprained her leg. She has been to Mexico, Israel, South Africa, Turkey, the Caribbean, the West Indies, many parts of the United States, and Europe.

W. Veronica Lisare served the ministry in various capacities, including becoming a prayer team leader and board member. She is very dedicated to teaching people how to pray. Sozo ministry or Sozo prayer as “a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry in which the main aim is to get to the root of those things hindering your connection with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”

In 2019, W. Veronica Lisare published her debut book, The Other Side of Fear: My Journey into Perfect Love.
