The archetypes of alien life that the entertainment industry feeds to us are things that we see and read about in novels, films, or animations.

Bob Ticer, author of The Alien Stranger, is an example of a writer who employs some of these alien archetypes. Readers will have a wonderful time reading through every page of his novel. People will be busy uncovering the mysteries he has set in place. It’s a riveting tale that will be worth anyone’s time, showcasing extraterrestrials unlike any other.

Since we’re talking about alien archetypes, join us to discuss the subject more and learn the secrets of these archetypes.

Archetype #1: The Guardians — Grand Alien Archetypes

They appear as light beams, ghost broadcasts from the frigid core of space, and in the imaginations of bright young minds. They enjoy puzzles and own all sorts of secrets worth keeping. Only if we demolish our nuclear weapons will they be able to save us from ourselves. It is foolish to resist.

Archetype #2: The Raptors — Nightmare Fuel Alien Types for Humanity

These creatures, who resemble demonically distorted predators, are the stuff of nightmares for humans. Since the first members of their race rose from the mist in some distant nightmare world, they have been driven by an instinctive need for human blood. They exist to kill, their acidic saliva oozing from their cunning teeth.

They hunt in packs and are often not very smart, yet they are hunters with exceptional skills. Space explorers often encounter them in renegade asteroids, sunny hells, ghost spacecraft, and dead worlds. It seems the best way to deal with them is recruiting flame-thrower-wielding femme fatales.

Archetype #3: The Lost Tribes — Alien Species Closely Resembling Humans

The Lost Tribes are aliens who, besides having better technology and an intergalactic government, are nearly or precisely human. They are not superhuman, even though they might possess telepathy, teleportation, or time travel abilities.

It is anticipated that these extinct tribes would come into “peaceful” situations. Writers often use them to highlight humanity’s glorious future or, in some other way, elevate the human race. They often do this by admitting Earth into an evergrowing Galactic Union or coming to Earth in search of safety from a disaster in the latter instance.

Should one categorize Bob Ticer’s character in The Alien Stranger, the archetypes of alien life they’d fall into is probably this. Also, out of all the archetypes of alien species, The Lost Tribes are most likely the ones we can relate to.

Archetype #4: The Locusts — A Destructive and Unstoppable Alien Behavior

They had traveled from world to world for over ten thousand years. For eons, they have only left a trail of death, destruction, and despair. They pause only to siphon each new planet before continuing when the planet’s resources are depleted.

They yearn for our fresh meat, pure air, and valuable bodily fluids. These species probably have the most hate for human life out of any of the offworlders because we mean absolutely nothing to them. We are but livestock and playthings to these alien beings.

Archetype #5: The Grays — A Staple of Alien Encounters

We are familiar with them thanks to the placards in our cornfields. We know them from Uncle Bob’s tattoos inked from ultraviolet rays. Most commonly, we know them from government propaganda that spoon-feeds us lies. They are observing us and are present everywhere.
