Sometimes, people look beyond life so much that they cloud their ability to see reality and accept what is for them.

Author Chet Shupe dives more into this in his Spiritual Freedom Press and provides an idea of how to regain spiritual freedom.  He talks about how you have to let go in order to be spiritually free. The key is to follow what feels right and stay away from what feels wrong. Allowing oneself to enjoy what nature provides without resisting what is intended for oneself is the first step toward achieving spiritual freedom. To be free means to go with the natural flow of life and accepting what comes with it.

Somehow, they forget to live freely with the acceptance of what today brings. But what does being spiritually free mean? How would you know if you are considered a part of this spiritual freedom? Perhaps there was a point in your life when you have experienced this, but because of drawbacks, you happen to lose the freedom and the ability to feel what it truly means to be free.

It is indeed easier said than done, but it is about giving your best shot and trying to change for the betterment.

A feeling of inner freedom and self-awareness that enables people to live by their actual purpose, values, and beliefs is referred to as spiritual freedom. It revolves around an individual’s intimate relationship with the inner self and the nature of life. Inner peace can be found within oneself, fostering a sense of life satisfaction.

When a person struggles with finding their purpose, there is a wonder and confusion that becomes a question. That question becomes a problem. Some question themselves or question life itself. They intensely scrutinize the future and the negativity that is about to happen. They overthink too much and hold onto negative emotions and desires. Because of this, regaining spiritual freedom becomes a haze. Now, the question is how to regain spiritual freedom and find oneself again.

Here are some of the ways to reclaim spiritual freedom and find inner peace:

  1. Practice Mindfulness

One of the ways to reclaim spiritual freedom is mindfulness. In order to better understand and detach oneself from outside forces like societal expectations, which hinder inner peace, achieving spiritual freedom frequently entails engaging in mindfulness, meditation, and self-reflection. Mindfulness is interlaced with self-awareness. Being aware of oneself guides you to a lot of positive outcomes and possibilities that will transform you into a capable individual.

  1. Set goals

Having a goal also means you have purpose and meaning. Setting goals manifests clarity of how you want to become spiritually free. There is a plan to attain the goals, making it easier for you to make decisions along the way.

  1. Know your values

Knowing and understanding your values brings forth purpose. It fills your soul’s purpose, and you become clear with your choices and decisions, which pulls you closer to attaining your goals and mission.

This leads you to a path of spiritual freedom.

  1. Accept the constant change

How to regain spiritual freedom through acceptance?

Acceptance is admitting reality or a concept to be true or agreeing to it. When a person learns to accept the idea that change is constant, they become fully aware that adapting to this change is one step in attaining spiritual freedom. It is without a doubt that change is somehow frustrating and causes too much anxiety, blurring our ideal image of life and purpose. Moreover, life is imperfect and does not always go as planned because of constant change.

Letting go of the fixated mindset of how you picture life to be and want it to become enlightens you that there will always be an unexpected route, which is how unpredictable life is. People also change as they encounter various experiences that mold them continuously.

Through acceptance, spiritual freedom will be regained, and inner peace will thrive.

  1. Trust yourself

Trusting oneself unfolds multiple opportunities that create a sense of self-discovery. When you trust yourself, you attain an understanding that you deserve to be spiritually free in life.
