ReadersMagnet kicks off in LA this year with a significant book event that brings authors and book lovers together. The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2023 will be held at the University of Southern California this April 22-23,2023. We are immensely honored to show off notable works from various authors at LA’s premier book festival. With our experience handling top-tier book events like this, every attendee will have the time to get to know their favorite authors behind the bestselling books.

Not only will they sit there on display for every book festival attendee. Exhibitors get to showcase their latest masterpieces, bringing their intended audience closer. Our LATFOB 2023 authors and special guests
Book events would only be the exact exciting moment with our main highlights: the authors and special guests who will grace the venue throughout. They will be stationed individually via booths with their books on display. Their booths are strategically aligned for easier access and navigation for every attendee.

Jerold Skolnik

About the Author: As an expert speaker, sales manager, and proficient author, Jerry Skolnik spend the majority of his life as a salesperson working in the oil and beauty industries. Jerry ensures significant growth in whatever he sets his mind to. He believes that customers are still people who are crucial to groundbreaking sales growth. Jerry also emphasizes how vital positivity is and how to gauge life with the right mindset.
Julius Mosley II
Book: Living Life with Blinders On (Living Life as God Intended)
About the Author: Julius Mosley II is a practicing dentist and the ministry head of evangelism and discipleship for 20 years at their local fellowship. His unacceptability towards the notion that people are merely created, allowed to exist, then cease away from the world without fulfilling God’s purpose. His desire to teach people to redirect their focus toward life after death is evident in the book. He also wants to help people as a dentist and, at the same time, share the wonders of eternal life with others, giving God the glory for all He has done.
Cynthia J. Giachino
Book: Quiet Fear
About the Author: Cynthia J. Giachino has been a dedicated teacher to young children and teens for 30 years. Born and raised in Northern Michigan, it became a place where her passion for Mother Nature began. After retiring, she was encouraged by her friends and started her life-long goal of writing a book and sharing her personal experiences regarding childhood trauma. Cynthia J. Giachino hopes that through her book, this sensitive topic can be brought to light.
Edward Lipinski
Book: Werewolf on Madison Avenue
About the Author: Edward R. Lipinski has worked in publishing and advertising for over 40 years. He also has an extensive background in the arts and has illustrated a home improvement column for the New York Times for over five years. Lipinski also authorizes a children’s book, “Picasso: The Cat Who Wanted to be an Artist.”

Arthur J. Besler
Book: Why? Why? Why? Jesus do you consider our Church lukewarm?
About the Author: Arthur J. Besler was born to Russian immigrants who went to America in 1907. He left home and tended to various livestock on a ranch. As he began to experience the Holy Spirit’s presence, Arthur J. Besler started to speak in an unknown language and has never been the same since. His goal is to reach the world through the Gospel of Salvation.
Joseph Descans
Book: Hosea: The Prophet Who Married a Prostitute
About the Author: Joseph Descans was born on June 24, 1964. After the divorce of his parents, Joseph moved to San Diego with his mother and younger sister, Debbie. Joseph graduated from Torrey Pines High School in 1982. He graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2000 with a BA in Literature. His favorite pastime includes surfing, snowboarding, and fishing with his four children and friends.
Joe Estacio
Book: When I Was Young
About the Author: Joe Estacio is a Filipino-American who lives in Central California with his wife and two kids. He graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a BA in Theatre and studied acting. Since becoming a father, he has been inspired to write children’s books for his kids.
Dairl Johnson
Book: In Search of Tom Candy
About the Author: Dairl Johnson is a former US Navy jet fighter pilot, IBM executive, and founder of multiple successful companies, for which he has been featured in Entrepreneur magazine as one of the 50 Hottest Business Startups in America. A lifelong outdoorsman, he has owned and operated a horse ranch and enjoys outdoor activities from mountain climbing to scuba diving to big-game hunting.

Carson Boss
Book: Glimpse
About the Author: Carson Boss has been a Christian youth instructor in his Church for more than twenty years. In that time, he has had many wonderful conversations with students ages seven to 80, with common themes of biblical stories of good and evil and what happens after we die.
Donnabelle Pineda
Book: The Dragon and Rat Tale
About the Book: Donnabelle emigrated from the Philippines to the United States at a young age. She grew up in San Francisco and now lives in Arizona with her family. She is passionate about helping others and leaving a legacy that impacts everyone struggling with life. She likes to educate from early childhood years and share the wealth of learning and facing challenges and adversities of life, more importantly about financial literacy to young adults and future generations.
Yvonne Bronstorph
Book: Dogs with Attitude
About the Author: Yvonne was born in Jamaica and received her education in England. She enjoys classical music and played the cello, recorder, clarinet, and guitar as a teenager. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother and worked for the Jamaican Government. Yvonne migrated to the US and worked as an Educator. She is now retired and continues her love for reading, writing, and music.

Basil “Buzz” Howell
Book: 70 Years of God’s Miracles
About the Author: Despite being born during World War II, Basil Buzz Howell had a typical childhood and grew up normally. His love for Mexican People and Spanish food led him to meet his wife Esperanza, and they married. His life, though ordinary, was a testament to God’s goodness over the years and inspired him to write this book. He hopes that readers will become inspired by his life story.
