Letting God shape us can be challenging, particularly if you’re just getting into it, but it is essential for our souls that God does so.

She Let God Write Her Story by Yelena Borichevska is an excellent example of what happens when God forms our lives. Yelena took a massive leap of faith and was able to reap the blessings God had in store for her. She couldn’t have guessed for things to go her way, but she kept her faith and never faltered in her belief.

Over and over again, time reminds us that God continues to be in charge. We cannot hold the wheel in our hands and give God the wheel simultaneously. He is in charge of getting you precisely where you need to go and getting us exactly where we need to be.

God wishes us to understand that His plan for us is perfect. He only wants his children to get what is best for us. Therefore, why don’t we allow God to drive our lives?

Let Go and Allow God to Lead Your Life

The unknown is terrifying. It can be difficult to fight the desire to influence your future. If something doesn’t go as planned, we become nervous. We question God’s capacity to direct and lead us. Giving God the reins and letting go is no easy task.

However, whenever life gets too out of hand, when we are aware that we are in crisis, and when life forces us to acknowledge that we are helpless to save ourselves, we must leave it to God and let go.

In times of need, we must yell to Him. He’ll always be there. He will show up with the ideal counsel and response at the perfect moment. When we do, we’ll understand that we take our close relationship with Him for granted and that we’ve been making a poor attempt at living life on our own.

The good news is that when we give something to God and let go, letting God shape us throughout our life, there is constantly a blessing and evidence of God’s goodness on the other side.

Just like in the book She Let God Write Her Story by Yelena Borichevska, the author opened her heart and allowed God to shape her and her life.

How We Can Offer Control to God

We frequently strive to exert authority over our lives to the point where we lose sight of God. Because we are worried about the future, we do not want to give up. Although we may believe in Him, we do not trust Him.

We don’t have much influence over the way we live. The greater authority you strive for, the less you possess.

Accept the life that God has prepared for you. Let Him mold your life in a way that He sees fit. Our responsibility is to carry out the tasks He has given us faithfully and obediently. Nothing is more admirable than giving God the reins and entrusting Him with the weight of your problems.

We must give God complete authority over our lives if we are to live lives of passion and purpose. More than we do, God is aware of our lives. He has a well-thought-out plan for our lives. We find release from the weight of control when we give it to God.
